Mega Man 4 is a 2D run and gun platformer developed by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. This is the fourth installment in the series so if you’re not up to speed then be sure to check out the previous reviews. The game starts with an opening cinematic recapping the events of the previous three games. This time the plot is quite simple. Mega Man seeks to keep the peace, but a new villain, Dr. Cossack, decides to build his own robots to take out Mega Man. It’s up to you to fight for your life and stop them. Mega Man 3

Mega Man 3 is a 2D run and gun platformer for the Nintendo Entertainment System developed by Capcom. This is the third installment to the series so I’ll assume you’ve been keeping up with my previous reviews or know something about Mega Man in general to start with, though a lot of it is relatively similar. The story is strangely absent from the game’s opening, but doing some research you’ll find that basically Dr. Wily has turned over a new leaf and begun working with Dr. Light in order to create a robot to keep the peace. In order to do so, they need to collect elements that are guarded by robot masters. It’s up to Mega Man to collect them for the good of the mission. Let’s just hope this is the end of Wily’s trickery… hmm… nah, it’ll probably be fine. What could possibly go wrong? Continue reading “Mega Man 3”

Super Metroid

Super Metroid is the third installment in the Metroid series of 2D adventure-platformer shooters and is on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The events of the game follow the events of the previous two. The game will explain it at that start, but basically the last Metroid is in captivity being researched by scientist when you, the bounty hunter Samus Aran, receive a distress call from the research station to find the Metroid stolen. After escaping the self-destructing lab, you tail the thief to Zebes and begin your search for creature and its captors. Are you a bad enough babe to save the Metroid? Continue reading “Super Metroid”
